Seat Belts and the Laws
From 1963 to 1974, the United States have made improvements and mandatory that passenger cars be equipped with a three point front shoulder and lap seat belts and rear seat lap seat belts. In 1984, the US decided that it was mandatory that all vehicle passengers be properly secured by wearing a seat belt correctly. Insurance companies sometimes have clauses in their insurance policies require ALL passengers to be securely fastened in with a seat belt or any claim for bodily injury during an accident is void.

Aston Martin DB9 Volante
Number fourteen is a GT sports car made by Aston Martin; the DB9 Volante is a fast convertible that has been featured in television shows such as "Entourage" and "Desperate Housewives". It's three-tenths slower than the hard top model, but it stands 1.1 inches taller. Its popularity is in its six speed manual transmission, but it also comes in automatic.

The Porsche 911 Carrera GT2 comes in at number thirteen. The Porsche Carrera S is right behind at number twelve.
Number Eight, Nine and Eleven
Here are three more spots taken up by Mercedes-Benz. At number eleven it's the Mercedes-Benz CL600, then at number nine it's the Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG. The second most expensive Mercedes-Benz is the SL63 AMG model.

BMW has always been a favorite luxury car with its extraordinary comfortable interior and a classy design; it's ranked at number seven.

The most expensive Mercedes-Benz to insure is its AMG Black Series, the Mercedes-Benz SL65. In 2008 it had taken on a facelift and have been the same way ever since. Mercedes-Benz reached the number six spot with this model.

The Italian sports car manufacturer Pagani stands at number five. The car was supposed to be named the "Fangio F1" after Formula One champion Juan Manuel Fangio. But his untimely death in 1995 made last minute changes. The current name came from an air current above Argentina. The Pagani Zonda F is at number five.
Bentley
The Bentley Motors Limited is a British auto manufacturer that sold to Rolls-Royce in 1931. In 1998 the Volkswagen Group of Germany became owners and has been doing moderately well. The Bentley auto mobile stands strong at number four.

At number three is Rolls-Royce. For years the Rolls-Royce has stood for success and financial security. In 1973, Rolls-Royce Limited, the original company, split into two; Rolls-Royce Motors and Rolls-Royce plc were created.

The Lamborghini is one of the sexiest cars on the market. The Lamborghini Reventon is the most expensive Lamborghini ever built with a sticker price starting at an astonishing $1.5 million. Only 20 vehicles were made to be sold to the public, and one to be built for the Lamborghini Museum. Rumors surfaced, sayings that there were actually one hundred of these superb pieces of automotive machinery were built. But amazingly enough, it stands at number two for being the most expensive car to insure.
